Skills with prizes machines guidance

The Gambling Commission has clarified the position in relation to crane-type Skills with Prizes machines in a document entitled “Non-complex cat D gaming machines” that can be downloaded below, together with the Commission’s Quick Guide to SWPs.  

Customer funds reporting for remote gambling operators

The Gambling Commission has confirmed that formal customer funds reporting will be introduced for remote operators in early 2016. Its response document summarising the feedback from respondents to its supplementary consultation on the subject and the Commission’s position on the consultation proposals can be downloaded below.  

Gambling sector tightens advertising code

It has been announced that following the completion of a four strand-review of gambling advertising that was initiated by the Government in 2014 and work undertaken by the Industry Group for Responsible Gambling the gambling industry code for socially responsible gambling is being tightened.
