Diversity in health, research, consumers & business
Categories: News
Yesterday we attended the sixth annual GambleAware Harm Minimisation conference that this year focused on the role of diversity in reducing gambling-related harms, with four sessions addressing the issues of diversity in:
- health,
- research,
- consumers and
- business.
You can download below the speeches delivered at the conference by each of:
- Kate Lampard (Chair of GambleAware)
- Neil McArthur, CEO of the Gambling Commission (pictured below) and
- Mims Davies, the newly appointed Gambling Minister.
Operators would be well-advised to take note of the increasing focus on diversity within the gambling industry, first strongly emphasised at last year’s GambleAware conference. We believe it likely that the Gambling Commission will expect to see themes related to diversity reflected in licensed operators’ corporate governance processes. If you require further information on this subject, we will be happy to advise.
