Gaming in clubs and premises with an alcohol licence

We are often asked to advise on the extent to which gaming is permitted in pubs, bars, clubs and other premises with a Licensing Act 2003 premises licence. The Gambling Commission has now published an updated version of the advice note that it first issued in September 2008. It can be downloaded below. However, as the Commission itself states, “the law in this area is complex and each case must be judged according to its facts”. You should therefore please let us know if you would like to receive specific advice on any issue raised in, or not covered by, by the Commission’s updated advice note.
