New version of LCCP for remote host operators

Gambling Commission_8The Gambling Commission has published a new version of the LCCP for remote host operators that includes the conditions and codes for remote ‘host’ operating licences (that will be applicable for businesses that only provide facilities for gambling in circumstances in which they do not contract directly with any of the customers using those facilities). For more background information, see David Clifton’s most recent Licensing Expert article for SBC News.

The Commission has also published a summary of the key changes incorporated within the new version of the LCCP. They will come into force when the Department for Culture, Media and Sport puts into effect, through a statutory instrument, the provisions for the remote betting host and game host operating licences, which is expected to be in April 2017.
