Established in 2012 to develop Britain’s approach to protecting sport and sports betting from corruption, the Sports Betting Integrity Forum has now published its second edition of the Sports Betting Integrity Action Plan (that can be downloaded below, as too can be its Sports and Sports Betting Integrity Action Plan 2016 Annual Progress Report).
The second edition of the Action Plan builds on initial progress, continuing the collaborative approach across sport, betting operators, law enforcement and government to prevent, protect against and deter sports betting-related corruption. It has also been amended to include relevant updates and new priorities. Actions will be delivered and reviewed by the SBIF, with progress published annually.
We reported in September 2015 on publication of the first Sports Betting Integrity Action Plan.
