Suzanne Davies obtains premises licence for Wasabi at Paddington Station

We are pleased to announce that Suzanne Davies has successfully negotiated away representations made by the Metropolitan Police, British Transport Police, the Environmental Health Department of Westminster City Council and two local residents’ associations in order to secure the grant of a premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 for Wasabi Sushi & Bento at Paddington Station in London. We wish our client’s business all success with the benefit of this licence.

With an expanding number of branches, Wasabi offers a diverse menu ranging from individually wrapped sushi to hot bento dishes, plus a range of warming noodle soups, authentic salads and refreshing bubble teas. More information can be found here.

Representations used to be called objections. A representation – even from such serious opponents as are mentioned above – does not necessarily mean a refusal of your licence application or even having to accept licence conditions that frustrate your business ambitions. Negotiating representations away, thus avoiding a contested licensing hearing and, at the same time, saving potentially very substantial costs demands quite special skills and experience.  We have an excellent track record in achieving very positive results for clients in this respect.
