In an article for SBC Americas entitled “Tackling problem gambling – what is effective?” (that can be downloaded below), Suzanne Davies talks about some of the big issues around responsible gambling and her objectives when she moderates a panel session bearing the same title at the forthcoming Betting on Sports America conference in New Jersey, USA.
As mentioned in a previous website posting, Suzanne’s panel session – at 2.00pm on Conference Day 1 (Wednesday 24 April 2019) in the “Trading & Operations” stream – is described in the Betting on Sports America conference agenda as follows:
“With increased opportunities to bet comes a bigger responsibility to keep bettors safe. Polluters will be expected to pay – but how much of that funding should go into research versus education and treatment?”
Suzanne’s panellists will be:
- Keith Whyte, Executive Director, NCPG
- Jamie Salsburg, Founder, After Gambling
- Paul Buck, CEO, EPIC Risk Management
- Daniel Umfleet, Managing Director, Gamban
Do please contact Suzanne (email [email protected] or by phone on +447767666300) if you will be attending the conference because she and David Clifton (who is also speaking at the conference) will be delighted to see you there.
