Yesterday, at the World Gaming Executive Summit in Barcelona, Tim Miller, Executive Director at the Gambling Commission, delivered a speech focusing on problem gambling. His speech can be downloaded below.
Last month David Clifton identified in his monthly “Licensing Expert” article for SBC News the Commission’s increasing use of the word “collaboration”. That same word was very evident in Tim Miller’s speech, in which he called for greater collaboration with public services, and better collaboration internationally in order to “turn a national strategy for safer gambling in to a weapon. A weapon that will attack the cause of gambling related harms; that will reduce the level of problem gambling; that will smash that glass floor”.
