David Clifton is quoted in a Gambling Compliance article entitled “UK Advertising Guidelines Target ‘Bet Now!’ Marketing” (downloadable below) that focuses on tougher standards on gambling advertising coming into effect on 2 April 2018 that will “restrict ads that create an inappropriate sense of urgency like those including “Bet Now!” offers during live events”.
