Equality, diversity & inclusion in the gambling industry

In January this year, David Clifton moderated a panel session at KnowNow’s inaugural Social Responsibility for Gambling Operators conference that posed the question “How serious is high-roller problem gambling?”

He will be attending KnowNow’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in the Gambling Industry conference at Prospero House, 241 Borough High Street, London SE1 1GA on 22 May 2018.

The conference boasts an impressive range of speakers including Neil McArthur (Chief Executive of the Gambling Commission), Kelly Kehn and Tina Thakor-Rankin (Co-Founders of All-in Diversity) and Lindsay Beardsell (Group General Counsel, Ladbrokes Coral Group). Registration details can be found here.

As we have reported previously, in February this year Suzanne Davies endorsed comments on this very same topic made by the then Gambling Commission CEO, Sarah Harrison, in (a) her speech at the World Regulatory Briefing and International Casino Conference on 5 February and (b) a further speech “What does diversity mean for the gambling industry?” made by her at a Global Gaming Women event, held as part of the ICE Totally Gaming Conference 2018.

David looks forward to seeing clients, friends and colleagues from within the gambling industry at KnowNow’s 22 May conference.

In conjunction with the conference, a half day Integration Workshop will be held the following day (23 May). It will be run by Emily Leeb, a Canadian based business coach with a background in the gambling industry, and will look at practical ways to implement the key takeaways from the previous day’s conference.

Brochures for each of the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in the Gambling Industry conference and the half-day Integration Workshop can be downloaded below.
