David Clifton is to moderate an AML Update panel session (to include the EU’s Fifth Money Laundering Directive) at the KnowNow Keeping Crime out of Gambling conference that will be held at Prospero House, 241 Borough High Street, London, SE1 1GA on 22 January 2019. His panellists (fuller details of whom can be found here) will be:

  • Jon Duffy, Director of Corporate Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Genting Casinos UK,
  • Tim Tyler, Course Director, International Compliance Training,
  • Isabella Chase, Financial Crime Writer, ComplyAdvantage and

This week’s imposition by the Gambling Commission of a £7.1 million fine on online gambling business Daub Alderney Limited for serious AML and social responsibility failings is featured in a preview of David’s panel session on the KnowNow website that can also be downloaded below.

This will be the second KnowNow conference at which David has moderated a panel session. You can read here about his “How serious is high-roller problem gambling?” panel session at this January’s Social Responsibility for Gambling Operators conference.

Having also attended KnowNow’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in the Gambling Industry conference in May 2018 and its “Responsible Marketing for Gambling Operators” conference last month, he highly recommends that you attend January’s Keeping Crime out of Gambling conference, the agenda for which (and ticket information) can be found here.
